Enemeez® contains 283mg of docusate sodium in a glycerin base and is dispensed using a 5cc. latex-free tube, with a twist off tip that leaves a smooth surface at the point of insertion, virtually eliminating the potential for rectal tears. This tube is also easier for patients with limited dexterity thus creating greater independence.
Enemeez® users on average save at least 228 hours on bowel care per year compared to users of Bisacodyl suppositories. Bisacodyl suppository users are also twice as likely to have an incontinence episode following a bowel care program than Enemeez® users.
