At Flint Rehab, we believe rehabilitation is more than just a regimen. It’s rebuilding a life full of the activities you love – and having fun while you’re at it! That’s why we’ve dedicated ourselves to using the latest clinical research and innovative ideas to create engaging, effective tools to spark recovery.
Your Support System
Making rehab tools isn’t the only thing we do, though. We created an entire system of support to empower you on the road to recovery.
It all revolves around our 3 core values:
1. Education
The literature available for stroke recovery is surprisingly lacking, so we’re trying our best to fill the void. Since we started writing about stroke recovery in 2015, we have published over 400 blog articles on stroke recovery – and we’re still going.
Our newsletter subscribers look forward to every Monday when we send our latest articles out. The information has always been free, and it always will be. (You can get on our list here!)
2. Community
But it wasn’t enough to just send out useful information. We wanted to help connect all the people that we serve, too.
So to help our community stay connected and supported, we created an online stroke support group on Facebook where thousands of stroke survivors and caregivers come together and gain insight from each other.
3. Empowerment
We do all these things because we want to empower you with the information, support, and tools you need to achieve your highest potential. We’re here for you, and we know you’ll succeed when you take advantage of our resources.
History
Flint Rehab began with MusicGlove, a next-generation rehab device that infuses hand therapy with the engaging element of music.
Because MusicGlove is fun and motivating to use, it took off by empowering thousands of stroke patients to recover their fine motor skills.
Once we saw how much people loved using MusicGlove, we developed FitMi, a full-body rehabilitation tool that also incorporates the motivating element of gaming.
FitMi was an instant success because users quickly see significant results. Since its launch in 2017, it has empowered thousands more patients to transform their lives.
Since developing MusicGlove and FitMi, we’re on track to release many more innovative and engaging devices. Stay tuned!
